Great Wolf Lodge

We took a mini-vacation to the new Great Wolf Lodge in Concord last week! This place is incredible, as David says "state-of-the-art!" Sad to say, our room was much nicer than our room at Grove Park Inn! We're talking granite countertops & flat screen tv's & more space! We only spent one night, but that was plenty of time...all of the water makes you exhausted!

The indoor water park is the main attraction, of course...it's huge & loads of fun. Funny...Carter, who's 8, was scared of the bigger water slides but Cooper, who's 4, cried because they wouldn't let him ride! He was about a hair of an inch too short. But, not to worry, there was plenty of other stuff for them to do! There was an area with small water slides and activities that were perfect for Cooper and another Fort area with larger water slides that was perfect for Carter, not to mention the activity pool, lily pads, wave pool, and the one outdoor activity pool.

Besides the water park, there's putt-putt, a huge arcade that's bigger than Chuck E. Cheese, an out of this world room called Gr8 Escape with flat screen tv's (one large enough to cover the entire wall & laptops, a hotel virtual game called MagiQuest, and much more! There's a Pizza Hut, Dunkin' Donuts, and several other restaurants, grilles, and sweet shops! In other words, you don't have to leave for anything! You can just stay in your swimsuit the whole time & enjoy yourself! In the lobby, there's a clock tower & they provide a show. Then, they read a bedtime story & the kids get to meet Wiley Wolf himself!

We had a fabulous time and plan on making it an annual event for us! I highly recommend going...check it out at www.greatwolf.com!
