Like a Kid in a Candy Store!

On Tuesday, we went to The Candy Factory in Lexington. It was fun, but not a place you want your 2 year old running around with thousands of candy pieces in his reach! They each got treats and took a picture with the famous peppermint pig.

We also went swimming at a neighborhood pool of one of the mom's in my meetup group!

Summer Fun

Our new pool in our backyard! Carter outgrew the other one so we decided to upgrade!

Well, so much for lazy days of summer! We've been too busy to be lazy! We're doing the summer reading program at the library, Carter is playing basketball on a team at the Y, and we've been to the free movies in High Point! At least it's a fun kind of busy!
The Webbers came for a visit and we went to the playground at Carter's school.
Hanging out with the neighbors!
Cooper's favorite summer treat....popsicles!

Carter got this slip 'n slide for his birthday. He and the neighbors are enjoying playing on it.
Carter & Cooper had a lemonade stand at our yard sale.
Carter and Cooper fell asleep in the recliner just like this!
Playing in the pool, Nemo sprinkler and waterslide at Grandmommy and DD's.

Happy Father's Day!

DD with all of his children and grandchildren on Wolfpack Road (his driveway!)

Charles's 1st Father's Day with Macy!
David and his boys!
Papa with his 5 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. Poor Macy.....all those boys! At least she'll be tough!
Charles, Renee, Daddy, & Sandra
Frank & Ivan

We spent the day in Reidsville and ate lunch with my dad and family and dinner with David's dad and family. What a great day!

Kindergarten is over!

Wow! It's hard to believe that Carter has finished kingergarten already! He has been a great student! He received a Good Citizens award at the final awards assembly and the Best Reader award in his classroom. He is reading on a mid-year 1st grade level! Mrs. Albertson said that he could've actually kept going, but she had to stop testing him so she could finish up her paperwork! We are so proud of him! We loved Mrs. Albertson and Mrs. Kepley and will miss them!
