Merry Christmas!

On Christmas Day, we went for round 3 of opening gifts at Laurie & Nathan's house! We had dinner together, too.

Grandmommy tricked the kids this year by making them think they only had 2 presents. She wrapped all of them up and then wrapped them together in 1 big box!

Christmas morning....

Carter likes to dig into each gift to see everything that he gets and then check it out later. Cooper, on the other hand, likes to open each gift and spend time checking it out. One of his favorites was the Batman hoodie, which he put on immediately and then sat down to read his new Super Heroes book before he even finished opening his other gifts!

Santa brought Raleigh a Wolfpack collar & leash plus lots of bones and treats

Cooper got a Batman cave, Leapfrog Tag Reading system plus book, Wolverine Leapster game, Toy Story Mania Wii game, clothes, and other little things.

Carter got a PS3 with a basketball game, Magagascar Kartz for DS, laser car, clothes, and other stuff.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was a busy day! At Grandmommy & DD's, we made birthday cupcakes for Jesus then opened our stockings there. Then, we had lunch with my family and opened gifts with them. We always read the Christmas story from the bible beforehand. After that, we came back home to attend church. Our tradition is to let the kids open 1 gift of their choice before bed. Carter chose Wii Sports Resort game and Cooper chose a Webkinz elephant. The boys sprinkled reindeer food on the lawn and made cookies for Santa. Then, it was off to bed to await his arrival!

The boys said goodbye to Hermie on Christmas Eve before he flew back to the North Pole with Santa. He may return during the year to check on the boys and see how they're behaving.

Surprise!

The boys went to spend the night with Grandmommy & DD before Christmas. So, when they came home on Christmas Eve, they had a newly decorated bathroom! I still have to paint and put up the new mirror, but this is all I had time for.

High School Friends....

Make new friends
but keep the old
one is silver
and the other's gold

Some of my best high school friends and I started a new tradition last year where we all get together for dinner around Christmas. It is always so good to see everyone and catch up. We always have a blast recalling old memories and making new ones! I look forward to seeing them each year! I just wish we could do it more often!

Jolly Old St. Nicholas.....

Lean your ear this way
Don't you tell a single soul
What I'm going to say
Christmas Eve is coming soon
Now you dear old man
Whisper what you'll bring to me
Tell me if you can...

*Snow* Much Fun!

What a great way to start our Christmas vacation....*S*N*O*W*!!!!! Carter was supposed to get out of school at 12:00 anyway, but he got out at 11:00 instead. I went to get some movies and made some goodies since we would be stuck in the house all weekend. The boys couldn't wait so they went out to play in the backyard on Friday night while the snow was still falling. Everyone else in the neighborhood was out, too! We all went out again on Saturday. I wanted to make a snowman, but I couldn't get anyone to help me. I ended up making a baby one by myself. All of the boys just wanted to have snowball fights! I hope it's clear enough for us to go see Santa tomorrow! :)

Breakdancing lesson...

Check out Cooper and Zayne breakdancing to Hip Hop Harry! Cooper must get his moves from his daddy! :)

Trimming the Tree...

Yes, Cooper is decorating our tree in his undies!
