My niece, Shelby Jane, celebrated her 1st birthday on Friday and her party was on Saturday. I've never seen a Daddy who loves his little girl so much! She is definitely Chris's sunshine!

Cooper will finish up his soccer season this Saturday on his birthday. He has had an amazing time and his skills are unbelievable! He scores goals left and right! Next up...T-ball!

Carter had an exciting soccer game on Saturday...he scored a goal! His coach and his wife are expecting a baby so we also had a little baby shower for them. It has been a great season filled with fun times with some of our best friends. We only lost 2 games and now it's tournament time!
I scream, you scream...
we all scream for ice cream!
The ice cream truck came by...even though Cooper had on his Buzz Lightyear costume, of course he wanted a Batman popsicle! We had never seen those before! How cute! 
Happy Birthday, Raleigh!
Raleigh is 10! WOW! It seems like yesterday when David and I brought home this tiny little puppy at 7 weeks old. At over 70 pounds now, he's not so little anymore, but I'm not so sure that he's outgrown all of his wild ways! However, he has calmed down quite a bit. He used to snatch our socks and underwear from the hamper and run from us. He enjoyed having us chase him up and down the stairs and all around the house. I'll never forget the time I awoke at 4am to find David downstairs on the sofa with an itsy bitsy Raleigh lying on his chest, both fast asleep (because Raleigh had been "crying"). He no longer takes our undies and he's too big to sleep on our chests, but he still manages to steal our hearts! We love you, Raleigh! We wish you many, more birthdays to come!

Funigans
We went to Funigans in Winston-Salem with the Shewcows and had a great time! I actually like it better than Chuck E. Cheese! The kids enjoyed playing in the obstacle course/play area, arcade games, mini-bowling and Skyler climbed the rock wall! 
Happy Easter, part 3
The Fishers came over for dinner on Sunday. The kids decorated egg shaped Rice Krispy treats, played outside, and of course, had our annual picture taking event. That's always interesting!
