Here's a slideshow of our time at the beach with my family:
RIDEMAKERZ
I took the boys to Ridemakerz at Broadway at the Beach. That place is so neat! It's like Build-a-Bear for boys! They get to choose their own cars & build them! Too cool!

HOORAY! The new YMCA is finished! David went from a cubby in Boiling Springs to a trailer in Archdale and now, as Branch Director, he finally has a brand new office at the new Carl & Linda Grubb Family YMCA! We're so proud of him! Years in the making, it's so exciting to see the finished product. It's nice to see him sitting behind a big desk in a beautifully decorated office!
Congratulations, Ivan!
In 1997, I was the first person in my family to ever move away. I went to Lenoir-Rhyne College in Hickory. But, it was short-lived. I was so home-sick.
Then, one day in October, the 9th to be exact, a little boy named Francis Ivanhoe St. Cyr Thompson IV was born to a set of parents named Frank and Sandra. Sandra just happens to be my oldest sister, which makes Ivan (yes they spared him the name), my nephew. He stole my heart at the ripe old age of 9 days old, which was the first time I was able to see him. I decided that I didn't want to be away from him or the rest of my family. So, when I came home for Christmas, I never went back. On a side note, I did finish my education at UNC-G.
Now, that same little boy towers over me! I've had the privilege of watching him grow into a handsome young man with a bright future ahead of him. He will earn his degree from Berklee College of Music in Music Production. He is the first of NINE grandchildren in our family to graduate from high school! The next one won't be until 2019! We are so proud of you, Ivan! We love you!

Watch out world...
My baby graduated from preschool on Friday. I can't believe it! I shed many tears, but I'm sure I'll shed many more when he goes to Kindergarten in August!
